Your Robot, Your Skin – How to 3D Print a Custom Shell

Black Panther X is not just an assemble‑it‑yourself robot — it’s a platform you can fully customize on the outside. We will provide all shell 3D print files (STL format) at product shipment, with full permission to modify.

What you can do:

  • Print alternate colors or materials (nylon, carbon‑fiber reinforced filament).

  • Design your own look: add “ears”, armor panels, tool mounts.

  • Create custom shells for special use cases: dust covers, sensor mounts, FPV camera housings.

How to start:

  1. Prepare an FDM or SLA 3D printer (recommended build volume ≥ 200×200×200 mm).

  2. Download our shell files (available in the community after pre‑order).

  3. Print with common filaments like PLA, PETG, or ABS.

  4. Install and share your design in the Black Panther X community.

Open source isn’t just about code — it includes physical form. Your robot, your skin.
